Black Bears – “Double Trouble”

“Muckaday” and “Awly”, both male Black Bears are the best of buds. Muckaday is jet black in color and Awly, brown.  Both bears have an extensive list of trained behaviors for all your filming needs!  Different from our GrizzlyBears, we do let the pair hibernate each year.  They go to bed early November and awake from their den around mid to late March.  Beings that they are buds, they can be worked together or separately.  When worked together the interaction behaviors are great – play fighting, tumbling around amongst the colorful Montana Wildflowers or the vivid Fall Colors. They can put on quite the show for your camera.  A beautiful picture!
